2nd Shift Patrol is commanded by Lt. Kevin Moore and Sgt David Bair.  Afternoon patrol - as it is commonly referred to, consisits of seven full-time patrol officers.  Typically four of those officers work the eight hour shift (1530-2330 hrs) each day.

Afternoon shift officers spend considerable time responding to domestic and neighborhood disturbances.  They also spend time responding to shoplifting incidents and motor vehicle accidents.  When not responding to these types of calls, officers are encouraged to enforce traffic laws, conduct foot patrol - weather permitting, and curb any disturbances in the neighborhoods.
