Operation "Last Call" initiated

PRESS RELEASE On 10-3-09 officers of the Alliance Police Department and agents of the Ohio Dept of Public Safety Investigative Unit, conducted a joint enforcement detail targeting alcohol related offenses in the City of Alliance. Particular emphasis was on offenses involving underage persons. Officers and agents teamed and patrolled the city in unmarked vehicles, concentrating on areas that have been the subject of citizen complaints. As a result of this enforcement detail, twenty seven (27) persons were charged with a variety of offenses. While the arrests were made in various parts of the city, all were made on persons that were found walking or in areas open to the public. The following individuals were charged with Underage Possession or Consumption of Alcohol: Fred Baldwin, age 19 of Mantua Ohio Cortez Brisker, age 20 of Alliance Ohio Keith Chadwick, age 19 of Geneva Ohio Gregory Clark, age 19 of Alliance Ohio Mathew Clutter, age 18 of Euclid Ohio Samantha Erli, age 20 of Hudson Ohio Courtney Gazda, age 19 of Parma Ohio Michael Greisl, age 19 of South Euclid Ohio Katherine Huffstetler, age 20 of North Benton Ohio Kaitlyn Joyce, age 19 of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Erik Leib, age 19 of Barberton Ohio Dustin Logan, age 19 of Massillon Ohio Mark Luoma, age 19 of Geneva Ohio Christina Pullie, age 18 of Wellsville Ohio Mathew Reynolds, age 20 of Marion Ohio Riki Reynolds age 18 of Marion Ohio Alliance Police Press Release Page Two Blake Rhein, age 20 of Poland Ohio A seventeen (17) year old Wellsville Ohio girl was also arrested for underage consumption. The following persons were charged with Possessing an Open Container of Alcohol in a Public Place: Daniel Clark, age 23 of Massillon Ohio Ronald Felgenhauer age 21 of Alliance Ohio Darell Parr II age 21 of Alliance Ohio Kristopher Takach, age 25 of Tarpin Springs Florida Trevor Bruney, age 24 of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania In addition to the above, the following other persons were charged: Todd Toder, age 20 of Bridgeport Ohio was charged with Furnishing Alcohol to Underage Persons Erian Harwell, age 42 of Cleveland Ohio was charged with Disorderly Conduct when he was observed by officers urinating in view of the public in the 700 block of Hartshorn Street Robert Doak, age 32 of Alliance was arrested for Driving Under Suspension when the officers working this detail observed him driving in the area of State Street and Rockhill Ave., knowing that he was suspended. Jillian Mercer, age 25 of Alliance, was a passenger in, and owner of the above vehicle. She was charged with knowingly Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate a Vehicle. Doak and Mercer were released on bond. The 17 year old Wellsville girl was taken to the PD until she could be released to a parent. All others were charged on scene and released. They will be appearing in Alliance Municipal Court over the next several days.
