Alliance Canine - Papi

One team is Det. Bob Rajcan with K9 partner Papi. K9 Papi is a male German Shepherd who weighs approximately 100 lbs. Papi was born April 15, 2003. K9 Papi began his career with the Alliance Police Department in November 2005.

He is trained in narcotics detection, criminal apprehension, officer protection, tracking lost or fleeing persons, building and evidence searches.  

 

 

 

K9 Papi was donated and named in honor of US Army Green Beret SFC Pedro “Papi” Munoz, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on January, 2005.
